About Nichole

Growing up an athlete, no one in my immediate family would have guessed that I would make my way into the fashion industry.  Creativity skipped a generation with my parents holding degrees in Engineering and Programming, yet both grandmothers had a talent for the arts.  A knack for architecture and drawing developed into a love of fashion with some of my first designs being inspired by Kate Spade.  In 2013 I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Fashion Design and Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration from WVU.  Since graduation I have been very fortunate to intern at some of the best fashion companies in NYC.  Most recently I have graduated with a Masters in Professional Studies in Marketing from LIM College and landed a job that finally created some stability in my life.  I wouldn’t change my experience for the world!

Established in 2013, Nichole Marie Designs is my outlet for creating fashion for the everyday woman. Starting off with ready-to-wear designs, the business has since grown to become a lifestyle, offering custom designs, DIY projects, fashion inspiration and the newest addition Fashion Illustrations. Noticing the popularity for fashion illustrations, NM Designs is currently in the process of providing consumers with illustrations that can be use for decoration within a home or office. The goal of launching this new décor collection is to bring creativity into the homes of those who love fashion and interior design. No more boring walls!
