Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

The VS Fashion Show is probably my all time favorite thing!  Now your probably wondering why since they 1) get a lot of back lash, 2) only show once a year and 3) aren’t really a high fashion brand.  But the reason I love the show so much is because the way the models have a great time on that runway is how I hope to one day have my runway shows go.

The bras and panties have become such a minuscule part of the show where it is now basically for entertainment value as opposed to generating actual sales (the do generate a ton of sales I’m sure tho).  I am the type of designer that wants my runway shows to be fun and that is exactly what this brand does.  They put on an actual show with performers and all!

The performances last night were AMAZING! First off Lady Gaga got to preform on the biggest televised fashion show this month and in February gets to headline as the half time show at the super bowl.  Talk about the greatest year ever to be a Gaga fan!  Although I wasn’t a huge fan of her singing “Million Reasons” at the show it is only because I feel like it is more of an up beat and fun runway that the song just doesn’t 100% fit.  It is a strong song just not really for this show.  On the other hand when she sang “John Wayne” I was jamming out. That song was perfect for the show.  I do wish she sung “Perfect Illusion” since it’s such a great song and would have been a great performance, but I can only Hope to hear it at the Super Bowl which I totally cannot wait for!

When I think of VS Angles there are a bunch that come to mind.  I have categorized them from OG, A squad and B squad.  Basically the OG squad is made up of supermodels that helped launch the brand for the A squad. The A squad in my option are the most popular girls of all time for the brand.  The B squad is the ones I think of second when I think of the VS Brand.
