Everyone makes a New Years Resolution, but how many of us actually stick with it? If your one of those people who doesn’t stick to theirs, don’t worry since I doubt most people actually do.
What is my resolution you might ask? Well it is to become healthy again and lose the weight that I have unfortunately gained since leaving college (so about 4 years). I found a program back in April of 2015 that worked wonders for me! I literally lost 10 pounds in 24 days with little to no exercise. The program I found is called Advocare. I was introduced to my coach from an old coworker of mine when I reached out to her after seeing her results on facebook.
I am always skeptical about things like this thinking “Oh this is just another stupid pyramid scheme.” and I will be honest, it does fall along those lines, but I have actually seen results in myself and my team. It is actually a Lifestyle as opposed to just a diet. It is not strict where you actually eat 6 times a day. The key is they teach you portion control. This plan (yes I say plan since again it is a lifestyle not a diet) teaches you how you should be eating along with providing vitamin and mineral supplements. Yes all this stuff is great, but I think the part that attracted me the most to this brand and their products are all of the support groups that are offered. Not only is it a judgment free zone, you can also share other personal achievements and gain tons of support along with making new friends.
Here are my personal results from my very first challenge where my goal was to lose weight for my friends wedding.
Now I will have to admit that after completing 3 challenges, I did fall back into my old habits, but this program really does set you up for success. It is up to you to keep motivated which is easy to do with the support groups offered to you. I think for me tho, it was hard to stay motivated after completing the challenge. Especially to continue going to the gym. I am the type of person that needs to go to the gym with someone that way I stay completely motivated. This is definitely something I am trying to change about myself. But like I said it is the best plan I have done (and I have done a few of them) and meant to set you up for success.
I highly suggest that if you do not wish to do the 24 day challenge for any reason (money, time, etc.) that you invest in two products: Spark and the Meal Replacement Shake. All you do for both is add water. Spark is an energy drink supplement that tastes amazing! It also keeps you awake for hours naturally and not with any caffeine like other energy drinks. The Meal Replacement Shakes are great for people on the go. Again they only require the addition of water and will hold you over for a good 3 to 4 hours if you are too busy to find a time to eat an actual meal.
